HomeWaterWise exists because most water treatment content online is either written by the manufacturers selling the equipment, or buried in technical jargon that assumes you already know what a grain capacity or a micron rating is.
We start from the problem, not the product: hard water stains, a well that smells like sulfur, worries about lead or PFAS in tap water, or just wanting cleaner-tasting drinking water. From there, we walk through what actually solves that problem, what it costs, and which options are worth considering.
How We Research
We are not an independent testing lab, and we do not claim to be. Our reviews are built from manufacturer specifications, third-party certifications (such as NSF/ANSI standards), verified customer feedback across multiple retailers, and publicly available water quality data. Where a claim comes from the manufacturer rather than independent verification, we say so.
